The Play-Cricket helpdesk has received a number of reports regarding scam emails being sent impersonating officials and admins of sites.

These come via the club's About Us page.

The About Us section is completely open - it is publicly accessible to be the way that someone new to your club can reach a site's officials without giving out the official's email address. The person sending the message must put an email address in before sending a message. This email address at the foot of the email will generally give away the fact that it is a spam/scam.

Anyone using any Play-Cricket should be vigilant that they may receive these suspicious communications.
