News has reached the Club that Evie Dixon has been selected for the Somerset U13 Girls County Summer Squad! She's come out as a beautiful off spinner/all rounder and parents (Liz and Pete) are super proud of her.

All at Corsham Cricket Club congratulate Evie on her achievement. She is a shining example of what can be achieved with hard work and dedication.

Liz gave massive thanks to former Corsham Academy Director, Rob Reed, for getting Evie into cricket when she was six years old, having joined the Club's Thursday evening 'After School' drop in club (now usurped by the ECB's 'All Stars' programme!). She also thanked everyone at the Club for being so supportive to her and the family. Liz hopes that Evie might be the first Girl from Corsham CC to play for Somerset!

Evie will continue to play for the U15s at Corsham, but will also play for an U13 Girls Team at Bath, the Bath Ladies 1st & 2nd Team and Somerset...so a busy season ahead!
