It was Martin's wish that there would be no religious service to mark his passing nor did he want a formal wake with speeches or eulogies.

However it's very clear from all the messages and communications that he was a friend to many and a much-liked member of the extended Corsham Cricket Club family.

Whilst respecting his wishes, friends and colleagues are invited to gather at the cricket club on Sunday 8th December at 1230 to remember Martin/'Frank', to meet up with former colleagues and to share a few tales of long-ago rivalries and matches.

This invitation is also extended to those who knew Martin outside of cricket, e.g. through his long membership of the gardening society so please share this message with anyone else who knew him 'beyond the boundary'.

The organisers would also appreciate help in tracking down several former cricketing colleagues: the Bates', Andy Brierley, Neil Pritchard, Dave Reynolds, Graham Jones, Phil Chisnell, John Applegate, Nick Cavill.
