Eight teams of U9 boys and girls descended on Station Road on the morning of Sunday 14th May to play three games each in the second annual 'Kwik Cricket' Festival.

Two teams from Corsham, which included an all girls team, were joined by teams from Winsley, Burbage & ER, Malmesbury, Marshfield, Potterne, and Goatacre.

The Corsham Festival was organised by U9 Lead Coach, Rob Reed with the assistance of Coaching Assistant, Paul Johnson, and sponsored by 'Ultra-Warm' and 'Bewley & Merrett'. A selection of the parents of the Corsham Academy players looked after the barbecue, the drinks window, and the cake stall, which was well stocked with cakes baked and donated by the parents.

Corsham Cricket Club would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the event, the sponsors, and particularly to the teams from around Wiltshire who travelled to participate.
